Network Security Architect

Network Security Architect is required by international client within a global data-centre based in Brussels.  The Network Security Architect will be working within a fantastic and interesting Banking Environment in Brussels. 

The responsibilities of the Network Security Architect will be to undertake and Architect secure network solutions following established and approved network security policies, Update the current Network Security Reference architecture and network security standards, Architect including bot high and low level design, planned network evolutions such as the various on-going data-centre network segmentation projects taking into account the retained PCI standards. 

For the Network Security Architect role you should be able to offer the following expertise: 

Proven, 10+ year network security experience and 4+ years' experience in architecting complex network security environments ideally in financial services. 

Technical experience/knowledge: 

- Proven experience in network segmentation projects, logically dividing network functions based on PCI requirements
- Past experience in PCI related network security architecture is an asset
- Recent working experience with current versions of Network Firewalls, Proxies, Load balancers, Switches and Routers, Network virtualisation, Encryption
- Recent experience in architecting complex datacentre networks and secure Internet access streets
- Outstanding knowledge of network perimeter defence
- Good, practical understanding of IT Cryptography

Required:

-  Palo Alto, Juniper, Checkpoint, LB (F5), VPN, Cryptography

Ideally: 

- Knowledge on PCI related network security implications
- Involvement in PCI audits, projects addressing PCI compliancy
- Routing, switching (Cisco), BlueCoat - Proxy
- CISSP 

This is offered at an excellent market rate and is offered on a 3-month contract with potential for extension.
