Network Security Analyst

NETWORK SECURITY ANALYST

Our global retail client urgently require an experienced Network Security Analyst to work on an ever expanding project portfolio in the offices in the Utrecht region of The Netherlands.

You will need to demonstrate experience of the following - INFRASTRUCTURE AND SECURITY MANAGEMENTS - One of the main projects that they are undertaking is implementing F5 security products so you must have experience of implementing and configuring this product set. There will also be ongoing vulnerability and patch management so it is essential that you have this experience.

SECURITY OPERATIONS - You will have experience of working in a SOC environment, handling severity issues and performing risk assessments on threats and vulnerabilities

FIREWALL MANAGEMENT - You will have experience of supporting products including Palo Alto, Checkpoint and Juniper

NETWORK SECURITY - review access management (IPSec, VPN) and ensure protocol for secure DNS

GENERAL INFRASTRUCTURE KNOWLEDGE - - Excellent knowledge of IT Infrastructure, cyber security technologies, various operating systems (Windows/UNIX), and web technologies (focusing on Internet security)
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as IP Networking, VLANs and basic routing/switching.
- Ability to read and understand packet level data Intrusion detection and prevention and Network Security Products (IDS/IPS, Firewalls, etc) Host Security Products (HIPS, AV, scanners, etc)
