One of our blue chip clients is urgently looking for a Network Security Administrator.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Security Specialist/Analyst will be primarily responsible for the daily support of client's Security infrastructure including IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Remote Authentication, AV & SIEM. Be able to work in an environment that is global and 24x7, and be able to pass and receive work for global peers in different time zones

- ACL push through Solsoft tool.
- Eclips/Infoblox tools.
- Qradar flow analysis.
- Administration & maintenance of IDS/IPS like Cisco, Fortigate, McAfee, Symantec & Sourcefire.
- Administration & maintenance of Firewalls like Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper & MS Forefront TMG.
- Administration & maintenance of remote authentication like RSA.
- Administration & maintenance of AntiVirus systems like Symantec, McAfee, Trend Micro.
- Administration & maintenance of SIEM tools like Arcsight, RSA Envision & netForensics.
- Incident response, analysis and investigations, performing intrusion detection and monitoring, assisting with system compliance and vulnerability reduction
- Monitoring correlation rule performance and provide Recommendation for tuning of signature, protocol and rules within the correlation engine. Approve Tuning request in accordance with client policies & Implement Tuning Request
- Performs review for Infrastructure device otherwise, documents all troubleshooting efforts in problem ticket and makes prompt notification to responsible party for resolution in order to minimize the amount of time taken to resolve customer issues.
- Performs initial level of problem identification and attempts to resolve when appropriate; otherwise, documents all troubleshooting efforts in problem ticket and makes prompt notification to responsible party for resolution in order to minimize the amount of time taken to resolve customer issues.
- Identify false positive intrusions, source of suspicious traffic on network. Assists with reporting on exception activities and escalate security violations to designated contacts as appropriate.
- Implementing Firewall configurations changes involving NAT, VPN, interface settings, HRRP, rule additions. Troubleshooting involving Firewalls.
- Documents and maintains internal procedural standards relating to support role as required
- Prepares effective communications affecting supported projects, products and services globally. This involves drafting notifications for large scale distribution. Keeps lead and manager updated as appropriate
- Provides after-hour and weekend on call support when required
- Flexible to work independently and also as a team player with a high-degree of professional conduct at all times
- Develops and maintains product knowledge, business and professional skills by participating in on-the-job and other training courses

SKILL REQUIRED:

- Firewalls (like but not limited to Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, MS Forefront TMG)
- Anti Virus (like but not limited to Symantec, Trend, McAfee)
- IDS/IPS(like but not limited to Cisco, snort, sourcefire, McAfee, Fortigate)
- SIEM ( Arcsight/Envision/Net forensics)
- 2 factor authentication (RSA, Symantec VIP)
- Experience (3-7 years ) of a technical support environment
- Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Flexible to work in 24x7 environment
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel; Word; Powerpoint)
- Ability to develop technical documentation, technical communications and project work plans.
- Ability to facilitate knowledge transfer within team and outside customer groups
- Team player who also works well independently; self-motivated.
- Understand and work with a culturally diverse team.
- Experience in responding to network/Security incidents
- Basic ITIL principles & service.
- Product certification in the above mentioned mandatory technical products.

EXPERIENCE:

- At least 3-10 years' experience in Security Analyst role
- Technical certification and technology specific study
