NETWORK SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR - GLOBAL BANKING CORPORATION - BUDAPEST, HUNGARY
We are currently recruiting for multiple opportunities for Network Security Administrators, with a strong focus on Firewall technologies to join a leading, global IT & Management consultancy and work onsite at a Tier 1 Investment Bank with major offices in Budapest, providing 1st/2nd line support and administration of the Network Security components and Firewalls.
Our client is one of the World's largest and best known IT amongst their clients they count a vast number of blue chip companies; the roles we are now assisting them with the recruitment of are to work onsite at one of the most prestigious of their clients; one of the World's Largest and most renowned Banking Corporations.
We are assisting them with multiple hires to grow a Network Security team currently charged with the setup, installation, configuration and ongoing administration of Firewalls and other Network Security Components. The role at hand will work as part of a wider team providing configuration and administration support to a large LAN of over 10000 terminals.
The duties of the role are:
- Firewall installation and configuration.
- 1st/2nd Firewall Operations Support.
- Network Infrastructure and Switches configuration.
- Coordinating with customers and stakeholders for issue resolution.
As well as the above, the recipient of this role will also work closely with both the client and the onsite teams to devise new support strategies and process as well as advise on new technologies.
In order to succeed in this position you will need to have the following technical skill set:
- Strong Knowledge and experience of Firewall Configuration and Administration on:
Juniper NetScreen
CheckPoint Firewall
Cisco ASA
SSL Proxy
- Good Understanding of Networking Concepts and Protocols
- Good Understanding of Security Operations Fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of Security standards (SOX/HIPPA/ISO 17799)
- Good experience of working in an ITIL Environment.
As well as the above, we require someone with very good communication skills in English, as this role will be interacting closely with clients and stakeholders and will be providing face-to-face and phone support to people worldwide as part of its duties.
