Network Security Administrator

Seeking a Network Security Administrator who holds a current NV1 level security clearance or higher for a contract through until April 2015.

KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in a communication/networking environment including knowledge of TCP/IP.
- Understanding of security traffic analysis, detection and response techniques.
- Experience with Security Information Management tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Conducting security analysis, detection and response.
- Managing reports on analysis, detection, response statistics, security incidents and breaches.
- Assisting in the configuration of the CIRTNet environment.
- Maintaining the configuration, documentation and procedures of the CIRTNet.
- Providing technical advice and support to management.
- Performing extended day rostering (shift work maybe required).

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and knowledge in the following:

- Understanding of applications and services that transit a modern gateway environment including mail and web applications.
- Understanding of Intrusion Detection System software and operations.
- Experience of programming using Scripting languages.
- Experience and knowledge of using diverse operating systems (Windows and Unix)
