Network Reporting Manager/Performance Reporting Manager

My Global client is keen to hire a Network Reporting Manager to work in it Amsterdam office.

The Network Reporting Manager develops and delivers high-quality operational performance reporting, supporting service and process quality improvements.

Will identify operational report requirements within the business and ensure they can meet prioritized needs. This is achieved by writing and rolling out business warehouse and other reports to the business.

Will have involvement in developing and implementing reporting strategy.

Main Responsibilities

Responsible for delivering operational performance reports in a high-quality and timely fashion, from requirements gathering, through building/testing, delivering and sign off. Including documentation, roll-out and training

Maintenance of the reporting tools, mainly Business Analytics, MS Excel based. Possibly OBIEE, SQL, PL/SQL.

Conduct regular meetings with key report business owners to review existing reports and how they are being used and assess gaps, data issues and areas for improvement - to be pro-active

Test and reconcile new and existing data, other testing as needed

Collaborate and drive actions with IT to advance the company's reporting capabilities and improve the accuracy of data

Represent Network Operations and provide analytical support for cross-functional projects

Align with Operations, IT and Finance on company-wide reporting needs, consistency and accuracy

Liaise with the teams in Network Operations and the countries for collection of reporting data for report improvements

Support of the network Performance Management processes

Identification of opportunities to improve and increase efficiency of reporting

Research outages and identify root causes of issues identified in reports; will require understanding of overall business

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

In depth understanding of Business Analytics, MS-Excel, database concepts, data warehousing concepts, SQL and PL/SQL. OBIEE and ETL tooling (Oracle Warehouse Builder or Informatica Powercenter)

Preferably, basic understanding of network technology

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Skills & behaviour

Excellent in translating reporting requirements and development of reports/reporting templates

Effective Communication (including training)

Knowledge of statistical information processing and performance indications

Good understanding of Service Assurance processes
