NETWORK PROJECT MANAGER
One of my clients based in Brussels, Belgium is urgently looking for a French speaking Network Project Manager for a 24 month contract.
THE NETWORK PROJECT MANAGER WILL:
- Must be good at reading Copper and Fiber network plans and able to communicate/interface with other design professionals and regulatory personnel.
- Experience of last mile fiber/copper access network and network elements/equipment
- Good understanding of telecom processes in network designing and maintenance of fiber/copper network
- Basic understanding of telecom technologies such FTTx, VDSL, Copper, GPON etc
- Design copper distribution and feeding network. Copper connectivity design to Central office, new zoning and brownfield.
- Experience fiber distribution for FTTH network deployments
- Experience with public work systems (Govt/Communes) and Utility companies plans to find synergies in planning and design.
- Will be able to utilize facility analysis process to select areas for rehabilitation, coordinate field work, preparation of work order drawings and documentation updating work order records in an accurate and timely manner
- Telecommunications Professional and must be capable of engineering routine and specific outside plant work orders, both distribution and feeder.
- Knowledge of E2E process of planning, engineering and construction.
- Experience in managing Network design team, distributing the work and monitoring the SLA's
- Experience in handling various stakeholders (internal and external) during the design process.
- Ensuring budget compliance & regulatory compliances.
- Strong Program management skills
- Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent
- Analyze and identify improvements in the end to end plan and build process for Fiber (FTTH)/Copper networks
- * Plan improvements in the end to end QA methodologies during the network roll out processes
- Simplify the reports/tools being used in the tracking roll outs/implementation. Prepare presentations & reports at CxO, Director, Steerco and Domain level.
- Help in assessing issues and improvements in processes
- Good communication skills to conduct meetings/workshops to present the analysis to senior stakeholders/Execs
- Proven experience in Risk management and handling change management
- Proven experience in managing E2E responsibility of managing large programs/projects with external & internal stakeholders.
- Preference for candidate having Quality/process certification such as Six Sigma or equivalent
- Should have at leasy 8+ years Network Project Management experience
- Should speak write French and English
- Working with Offshore
