NETWORK PROJECT MANAGER

SUMMARY:

As the Network Project Manager you will work on projects of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of Project Management experience utilizing MS Office 2003, MS Project and Visio, along with having the keen ability to break down problems, and develop appropriate and thorough solutions. You will have varying levels of project schedule creation, development, and execution, and be required to provide weekly reporting both internally and externally. This is a culture of fun teams with seasoned professionals who are talented, corporate and knowledgeable; hard workers but not a sweat shop or micromanagement environment at all! This is a long-term 12-18 month contract opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Decision-making and independence is involved but limited.
- Receives general instructions on non-routine/new/complex assignments.
- Decisions are made independently and affect the work of others.
- Work is reviewed and measured on meeting objectives and schedules.
- Contact is typically advisory in nature and involves both the exchange of detailed/technical information and providing advice to others on how to proceed regarding assigned project.
- Typically deals with middle management and external equivalents.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of engineering principles, of job-related functional area and of the business.
- Determining resource needs for the implementation of various network implementation activities.
- Communicate and lead project calls with engineering resources, businesses project teams, and outside vendors on technical and

- Required to update customer on progress as well as identify any risks.
- Creation, development, shepherding, and coordinating implementation of network changes through proper customer channels in accordance with customer policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 7-10 years in Project Management
- 3-5 years' experience in leading large office or contact center build-outs.
- Advanced analytical abilities. Must be capable of breaking problems into component parts and addressing each individual issue in order to develop an appropriate and thorough solution.
- Ability to understand technical functionality and documentation and provide non-technical communication to non-technical personal.
- Interviewing skills as related to data gathering.
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Detail orientation with the ability to understand how a process fits into the overall business model.
- Financial management.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Strong change management skills.
- MS Office 2003 Suite, MS Project 2003, Visio 2003.
- PMP Certification is a Plus.
