NETWORK PLANNING ENGINEER II needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in MELBOURNE, FL.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Strong background in troubleshooting network data center problems
- Experience managing network, server, and application administration - Windows/Linux or physical/virtual Servers running Cisco Flexpod environment - Cisco UCS, Netapp, and VMWare
- Domain knowledge of TCP/IP along with through understanding of IP based networks

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Work in a team-environment to monitor, analyze and troubleshoot network datacenter problems supporting an operations center utilizing management and monitoring tools.
- Manage network, server, and application administration implementation utilizing Windows/Linux and physical/virtual Servers running within a Cisco Flexpod Environment utilizing Cisco UCS, Netapp, and VMware.
- Manage complex enterprise applications with a good knowledge of SNMP, XML, Perl, PHP, HTML and Scripting abilities. Use these tools and procedures to monitor, analyze, and baseline voice and data networks.
- Use skills to customize and implement application monitoring techniques required for program tasks.
- Use knowledge and skills necessary to plan and perform regular maintenance on complex enterprise datacenter networks and use technology-based practices and a systematic approach to perform troubleshooting.
- Resolve problems using internal and external groups, as needed, to correct trouble on the network, Servers, applications, and interact with the customer.
- Domain knowledge of data protocols TCP/IP and a thorough understanding of IP based networks.
- Candidate must be able to obtain FAA clearance.
- Position is part of a 24 x 7 network control environment. On-call support will be required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology/Computer Information Systems with Network Focus or Computer Science with Communications/Network Focus; or 5 (five) equivalent years industry experience.
- Technical Skills this team has: include Certifications such as: Cisco CCNA, CCNP, DCICN; VMware VCA, VCP; Netapp NCDA, NCIE; Redhat RHCSA; Windows MCSA. System administration skills desired: Linux/Windows. Storage knowledge: NFS, iSCSI, etc. Monitoring protocols/methods: SNMP, XML, Perl, PHP, HTML, Scripting, etc. LAN, VOIP, TCP/IP, etc.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Someone with strong experience in VMware or Linux vs Cisco would also be okay
- Certifications are a plus
