Network Planner II

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a NETWORK PLANNER to join our client in Overland Park, KS.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- This Network Engineer II will be responsible for the capacity planning and deployment of National Platforms within a nationwide telecommunications network.
- This individual will work to interpret technical designs, create plans and write technical planning documents necessary to perform the timely installation and integration of these new network elements.
- Review and understand network design documents, deployment plans, and process planning documents as required to perform the work functions.
- Develop and revise as required numerous Technical installation documentation (Network Planning Letters) and cable or data running lists.

Job Qualifications:

- Strong technical skills and demonstrated history with telephony and IT Hardware, Software, Peripherals, and Infrastructure.
- Technical understanding of telecommunication network and Planning techniques.
- Minimum two (2) years planning analysis and project management experience.
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate proven experience with network planning and analysis, deployment of equipment, preparation of technical planning documents and project oversight.
- Candidates should be able to understand and engage in work activities that include topology planning, site level planning, logistics, technical document preparation, project direction, project oversight and tracking of critical milestones.
