NETWORK PERMIT OFFICER, NRSWA, STREET WORKS, LOCAL AUTHORITIES, CONTRACT, ILFORD

Due to work load my client is seeking a Network Permit Officer for an initial 3 month contract with likeness to extend further.

The purpose of this position is to ensure that Electronical and manual notices/permits from Statutory Undertakers and Highway Authorities are successfully received and thoroughly checked to ensure accuracy and compliance to NRSWA and TMA, generating Fixed Penalty Notices as required.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience;

- Has practical experience of general Street Works administration
- Experience and understanding of financial aspects and raising invoices
- Be able to monitor the ability to programme, control and monitor a large number of projects simultaneously from inception to completion
- Have experience of being a member for a team dealing with policy issues
- Show basic understanding of the application of Standing Orders of a local authority
- Aware of legislation relating to health and safety, especially within the construction industry
