We are currently recruiting for our client, a Global Telecommunications Organisation for Network Optimisation Engineers to join their project in Romania.

Position Title: Network Optimisation Engineer

Position Type: Contract

Start Date: Jan 2015

Duration: 6 months rolling

Location: Bucharest, Romania

Responsibilities:

Collect and analyze of RF Data and Drive Test data;
-

Service Failure Investigations and customer complaints process;
-

Analyze logs using tools to produce statistics;
-

Responsible for system analysis of call processing;
-

Proactively resolve RF Optimization field issues;
-

Identify of non-dominant pilot and sources interference;
-

Capacity monitoring and evaluation;
-

Launch DT
-

Follow up with QoS performance of new sites integrated into assigned area;
-

Performing the technical support, routine maintenance task, troubleshooting and system improvement;
-

Monitor the alarm report from OMC system and handle the alarms;
-

Receive and analysis the fault with processing by the ticket in SDE system;
-

Cooperate with other teams.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

-

Bachelor Degree or higher education in Telecommunications/Electronics/Engineering/IT/BA or equivalent;
-

At least 3 years experience in telecommunications field;
-

Thorough understanding of principle of WCDMA/GSM/CDMA telecommunication;
-

Understanding in WCDMA/GSM/CDMA call processing, Handover process and algorithms;
-

Solid knowledge of (WCN/CS/PS/RAN) and technologies as a significant differentiator;
-

Team player with strong analytical and problem solving skills;
-

Proactive, self-motivated and good communication skills;
-

Willingness to work in shifts or in a flexible program, if necessary;
-

Good knowledgeable on transmission system CORE system, RAN system, computers and TCP/IP Networks;
-

Familiarity with windows and UNIX system is required;
-

multi-vendor experience is a plus.

Business fluent in English.
