The Big Picture:
- This role is focused as if issues are occurring within our client's environment and needs to be troubleshot and resolved. Our client has a complex infrastructure and applications and their integration that this person would have to troubleshoot from an operational perspective.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Involves technical work concerning detection of service interruptions and quick restoration of service from a wide array of networks, infrastructure and application failures.
- Collaborates with customers and internal peer groups, processes general incidents and service requests diligently and efficiently
- Develops and promotes a knowledgebase of tips, tricks and playbooks.
- Collaborate Real Time with carriers, product vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to scope, prioritize and resolve problems and issues
- Facilitation of hangouts during outages to task responders, communicate with outages often on hourly basis, restore service, follow through RCA and postmortems for service improvements
- Be the point person for any issues that come up in the call center.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- FIVE TO TEN (5-10) YEARS OF NOC EXPERIENCE, AT LEAST FIVE IN SIMILAR ROLE IN CONTACT CENTER MONITORING ALL THE ALARMS IN A LARGE CUSTOMER CARE ORGANIZATION.
- Intense technical skills in troubleshooting and problem resolution
- MUST HAVE WORKED IN A CONTACT CENTER ENVIRONMENT THAT HAS HIGH VOLUMES OF CALLS, USING DEEP SKILLS IN TECHNOLOGIES FOR NOC CENTER. EXPERIENCE IN CENTERS SUCH AS AVAYA, ASPECT, GENESYS, CISCO, VERINT, IVR, DIALER, ETC.
- Strong understanding of service levels, TT procedures, escalations, and RCA
- Must have great communication skills and the ability to drive resources to fulfil tasks and responsibilities open item/support requests.
- Insightful for preventive maintenance and recommendations for alerts and threshold limits, report failures/downtimes and work within the ground rules governing the SLA's for each technology.
- ENGINEERING DEGREE IN ANALYTICS, ENGINEERING, COMPUTER SCIENCE OR RELATED FIELDS.
- Wiliness to work additional hours/after hours if there are outages or failures.
- Familiar with infrastructure and application life cycles, procurement, changes, upgrades, backup, restore.
- Expertise in using and improving monitoring framework (alert console, alarms, NOC procedures)

- Avaya is a big plus.
- Experience setting up a NOC from scratch, with best practices, is a plus
