Network Monitoring and Vulnerability Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Network Monitoring and Vulnerability Analyst for our customer, that would be engaged in a large project of high significance, located in United Arab Emirates.

MAIN TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Active threat and vulnerability monitoring
- Active risk assessment and application assessment
- Create and present assessment reports to customer's stakeholders
- Develop risk mitigation strategies
- Develop internal and/or external documentation, such as detailed procedures, playbooks, and operational metrics reports
- Provide recommendations for remediation actions and suggestions for implementing best practices and improving standard processes and procedures

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- 10+ years of network monitoring and vulnerability experience (position of senior analyst)
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Understanding of IDS & IPS technologies
- Understanding of Windows event log analysis
- Experience with enterprise information security data management tools such as ArcSight or Splunk
- Understanding of network traffic analysis

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

- Start date: ASAP
- Duration of the assignment: 12 months, with possible extension
