Network Management Systems Engineer - Managed Services Environment

My client is urgently seeking an experienced Network Management Systems Engineer with a managed services background. This is initially a 3 month contract with a view to extend based in Belrose Location.

In this role you will assist with completing an internal project primarily on our client's network management systems ie CA Spectrum & CA eHealth, and updating Servers in customer environments with SNMP configurations for monitoring discoveries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Administrative Tasks
- Monthly Reporting Tasks
- Supportingprimarily CA Spectrum, ehealth, and UCM/NPC, for Discovery & Configuration
- Update multiple server environments with SNMP configurations- Discover Servers into monitoring
- Work with the senior Systems Engineer to define and maintain monitoring policies
- Propose/configure alarming & notification thresholds
- Configure/Edit/Enhance Topology charts for Enterprise overview
- Manage Attribute and Trap Mapping for MIBs

TO BE SUITABLE YOU WILL HAVE:

- Strong practical knowledge of Cisco RoutingCA Spectrum, ehealth, NetQoS, Nimsoft
- Microsoft certification ie MCSE, MCITP
- Cisco CCNA, CCNP Routing & Switching
- ITIL Foundation certificate
- Experience with CA Spectrum & CA eHealth is highly regarded.
