Projektbeschreibung
Network Inventory & Assessment Coordinator required for a 3 month Telecoms sector contract based in Helsinki.
The role is part of a data center consolidation programme, involving the gathering of comprehensive information regarding Servers, systems and networks to produce a complete inventory.
In the role of Network Inventory Assessment Coordinator you will:
- Be responsible for Network Inventory/Assessment creation, preparation, execution and updates.
- Document various network descriptions, locations, contact information, layer 2 & 3 technical information, quality documents, complexity, topology (in addition to physical network devices).
- Produce documentation such as written reports, inventory lists and network topology diagrams.
- Have contact/meetings with network owners, managers, architects and engineers etc.
The ideal candidate for the role of Network Inventory Assessment Coordinator should have:
- Experience of network documentation, network maintenance and development for large IT organisations.
- Strong, broad knowledge and experience of layer 2 and layer 3 network protocols, technologies and services (in addition to various network hardware and devices).
- Experience as an ICT Network Engineer/Administrator.
- Knowledge and experience of manual and automated network scanning and inventory tools, technologies and procedures.
- Previously been involved in a system and network relocation project and/or data center consolidation.
- Strong skills in MS Office (especially Excel and Visio)
- Excellent communication skills with fluent English language.
