Network Installation/Deployment Technician Job

NETWORK INSTALLATION/DEPLOYMENT TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, MO.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- WAN and TCP/IP
- DNS, DHCP, AD
- Cisco Routers and Switches
- Follow Network Diagrams
- Network Team Collaboration

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for deploying technology and solutions globally.
- This includes installation and configuration of wired and wireless LAN connected devices, network communications equipment, software and peripherals for all brands, all locations.
- Interface with the business, IT team, and external service providers to ensure delivery of seamless technology deployment services.
- Maintaining an overall operational awareness, determining resource needs to meet shifting priorities, and delegating work as appropriate.
- Participates in the development of new technologies by partnering with engineering teams and ensures the development of new deployment processes.
- Provides instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience with planning and directing large scale deployment activities.
- In-depth technical knowledge of networks and network connectivity, including broad knowledge of TCP/IP, as well as knowledge of administering Cisco Routers, and Switches.
- Experience with coordinating testing efforts associated with the introduction of new technologies including operating systems, hardware, software, and productivity tools.
- Broad technical knowledge of Client Server computing; including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, SCCM, file and print Servers.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Outlook, e-mail accounts and their relationship to Exchange Services.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; experience interfacing with all levels within an organization
- A flexible and adaptable orientation is required within our dynamic work environment; ability to manage multiple high-priority projects at once while meeting deadlines and remaining calm and cool under pressure also required.
- Team leadership and mentoring experience preferred a plus.
- Experience with Windows 7; Windows Server 2003/2008 Operating Systems a plus.
- Experience with creating network diagrams and designing wireless deployments preferred.
