This is a 3 month contract opportunity.Overview
Our client is seeking an intermediate to senior Network Implementer.
Reporting to the Infrastructure and Operations Lead, the Network and Security Specialist is responsible for all aspects of networking and will have a shared responsibility for infrastructure security.
Our client is not looking for a "designer" or "architect" or "solutions" person, but rather somebody with the ability and experience to take already defined designs, review them, and implement them in a timely manner.
Our Client does not have a "traditional" IT team, but rather an Automation & Technology Team that works as peers with their key business units.
Being a highly automated company, the A proven resource that looks for things to fix before they break.
- Above average focus on details and must have a continuous improvement approach to work
- Obvious desires to learn, grow, and strive to perform at an above average level.
- The flexibility and adaptability to take on new projects and challenges as they arise.
Current Technologies:
- HP Procurve, HP 3COM, N-TRON Switches
- BlueCoat ProxySQ
- Fortigate Firewalls
- VMWARE View (remote access and virtual PC/consoles)
- Microwave and fibre optic field network connections (4 current field sites and 4 "corporate sites")
- Shoretel VOIP system
- Aerohive Wifi technologies
- Majority of the current infrastructure is virtualized (VMWARE, Netapp, VLANs, VMWARE View, Data Domain disk backups).
