Network Help Desk Analyst Job

Yoh has a six (6) month contract opportunity for NETWORK HELP DESK ANALYST join our client in Mount Laurel, NJ.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for supporting local or regional information technology infrastructure.
- Set up and maintain network, server desktop and other computing hardware.
- Loads and maintains specified software packages such as operating systems, word processing, or spreadsheet programs on to desktops and Servers.
- Provide guidance to end-users on the installation of new products, upgrades or changes.
- Maintain virus protection systems.
- Support and maintain systems backup and recovery processes.
- Perform server and desktop diagnostics and perform or recommend remedial actions.
- Monitor compliance of policies regarding network security and appropriate use.
- Communicate with associates to explain planned and unplanned maintenance and outages.
- Document work thoroughly to capture technical problem, troubleshooting steps taken and disposition/resolution.
- Provide quality service over the telephone, via electronic (email/web) means, or at the client's work location.
- Provide on-call support outside normal business hours.
- Provide assistance to Client Relations Help Desk.
- Performing other duties assigned by Manager ITS Support.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Technical school training in computer field, plus one to two (2) years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred.
- An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
- Knowledge of
- Windows Server 2003/2008 R2
- Migration Experience
- SQL Server 2005/2008
- Backup Exec 2010
- Active Directory/Directory Services
- DHCP, DNS, WINS
- Exchange 2007
- Blackberry Server
- Share Point 2010
- TrackIT 8.0
- VMware/VSphere
- Citrix Xen Server/Xen App
- Networking 101
- Experience:
- Three to five (3 - 5) years desktop and server support experience
- Certification and Licenses:
- MCSE, Network+, A+, or equivalent
