For our client in the banking sector in Frankfurt, we are currently hiring a Network Expert/WAN (m/f)

Contract: limited permanent contract at Nash direct, limited for 12 months with option to extend for another 12 months.

Task description:
*Specification of new WAN services in conjunction with external supplier, assessment of service design proposals and ensuring that all deliverables from WAN service providers are in line with the respective requirements and have the required quality.
*Contribution to IT projects regards network technologies in (i) the preparation phase, such as technical specification, evaluation and selection of new products and solutions, activity planning and reporting, (ii) the implementation phase, such as analyses, development, integration and testing, maintenance, release, documentation, and (iii) in the deployment phase, such as preparation, integration, roll-out to production systems, as well as operational acceptance and handover to Data Centre Operations considering procedures, processes and training of 1st and 2nd level support staff.
*Provision of 3rd level support for client operational networks including expert assistance in restoring normal service from incidents, problem management, follow release, change management and other ITIL processes as well as day to day business accruing to Network Engineering team.
*Work in a shift system and On-call duties possible

Your profile:
*Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, information system security, or related disciplines
*Engineering and design experience
*Having excellent and extensive hands-on practise with WAN technologies, such as VPN, MPLS-networks and QoS/CoS.
*Having excellent and widespread experience of managing Telecommunication Service Provides applying ITSM/ITIL framework ensuring delivery of technical services.
*Having very good and widespread project-experience in Network engineering roles, Project Management or Activity Co-ordination implementing WAN-solutions, Perimeter Networks or
Security technologies
*Advanced experience with Checkpoint FW- or Juniper FW technology would be a distinctive advantage (e.g. several years).
*Advanced experience with f5-loadbalancing- and security technology would be a distinctive
advantage (e.g. several years).
*Advanced experience of Cisco Routing & Switching technology (Catalyst and Nexus) would be a distinctive advantage (e.g. several years).
*Advanced experience of DNS-implementations with Infoblox or Bind solutions would be a
distinctive advantage (e.g. several years).
*Advanced knowledge of Autonomous Internet Infrastructure with Multi-homing set-up and DDOS-mitigation technologies would be an asset
*Advanced knowledge of VPN-implementations with Cisco-solution would be an asset.
*Advanced knowledge of network related incident and problem resolution also by use of analyse tools, management and monitoring systems would be an asset
*Good knowledge of WIFI and NAC technology would be an asset.
*Advanced Certifications in the field of Project Management and ITSM would be asset
*Advanced experience in technical documentation would be an asset
*good command of English with proven drafting ability
