Network Engineers/Technicians - South Italy

Our South Italy client is looking to recruit a Cisco Network Engineers/Technicians.

The successful Network Engineer will be carrying out Implementation, Build, Configuration, Installation, Support, Maintenance and Administration duties on hybrid and Cisco technology including Routers, Firewalls and Switches.

Duties and responsibilities:
*Administration- you will be responsible for the maintenance and administration of the WAN Switches and Routers in the DFS operations. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining standard configurations, monitoring and analysis tools, as well as assisting with the solution of the problems related to WAN environment.
*Deployment - you will be responsible for final testing and deployment of WAN solutions as well as all related technical documentation.
*Analyst - you will be responsible for analysing the technical needs of customer, end-users and all stakeholders while helping identify technical problems and propose solutions.
*Planner - you must be able to analyze customers overall situation and develop a comprehensive plans that meets overall goals and objectives.
*Perform other duties, as required.

Skills Required:
*Excellent knowledge of Local and Wide Area Network related equipment
*Excellent knowledge of network management tools and practices
*Excellent knowledge of content networking equipment including content switching, caching and acceleration
*Excellent knowledge of voice and video over IP including voice transport, termination and related Quality of Services
*Excellent knowledge of ITIL service management methodology
*Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Strong background in operating and maintaining LAN, WAN.
*Ability to grasp complex concepts, logical and analytical approach to solving problems.
*Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.

Languages:
*Very good knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required.
