Network Engineers

Link Technologies is currently recruiting for Network Engineering Specialists, Levels I, II, and III. This is a contract opportunity for an established client in the Las Vegas, NV area.

Job Duties:

- Responsible for technical network support including installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the equipment and software supporting the enterprise data communications network.
- Integration and modification of existing networking infrastructure to meet new or revised technical requirements.

Experience and Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Or equivalent education and related IT experience:

Level I, 4 years

Level II, 6 years

Level III, 8 years

- Demonstrated ability to perform technical data communications activities (eg, design, installation, documentation and troubleshooting of data communications networks).
- Working knowledge of networking protocols, concepts and practices associated with bridges, Routers, hubs, Switches, desktop PC systems, Servers, and associated peripherals.
- Experience with CISCO and Extreme hardware and software is required.

Note:  One year experience shall substitute for one year of education.  Any experience utilized to fulfil education requirements cannot count towards the position's required number of years of experience.
