Network Engineer (with Clearance)

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a NETWORK ENGINEER to join our client at Peterson AFB, Colorado.

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and implementing the necessary hardware, software and telecommunications equipment to maintain and/or enhance the customer's local and wide-area networks for VoSIP and VOIP at NORADNORTHCOM at Peterson AFB, CO and subordinate commands.
- Support N-NC Enterprise VoSIP upgrade for NIPRNet, SIPRNet and NEN.
- Support VoSIP Cloud Services.
- Produce SDP and RDP and install systems for N-NC Enterprise VoSIP Cloud Services.
- Help troubleshoot, analyze, and VoSIP enterprise structures.
- Interface with customers and government representatives to resolve issues with upgrade and ensure issue resolution to customer satisfaction.
- Solutions need to be both reactive and proactive; this typically requires significant research and analysis and works closely with the customer point-of-contact on-site in client location at Peterson AFB as well as working long distance with remote users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve medium to complex network issues to resolve cross-domain solutions.
- Provide in-depth knowledge and technical expertise in the areas of design, installation, maintenance and support of VoSIP and VOIP network infrastructure following established methodologies and processes.
- Perform extensive root cause analysis, problem determination and support of technical issues related to upgrade and related technologies.

Job Qualifications:
- SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED
- Successful candidates should have a Bachelors degree and six (6+) years of relevant experience (or commensurate combination of education, training and experience).
- Experience with virtual environment management connectivity and configuration.
- Six (6+) years of hands-on experience with Juniper and Cisco network equipment.
- Six (6) years of working knowledge of Layer-3, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, Firewall policy and VLAN management, VoSIP and VOIP.
- Six (6+) years of knowledge and experience of the following: Ethernet, Ethernet Switching, IP, IP assignment, and IP routing.
- Security+ certification per DoD 8570 policy compliance.
- Experience with DISA Switches and VOIP.

Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proficient in network monitoring/management systems familiarity.
- CCNP or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Good analytical skills and experience with forward/reverse chaining troubleshooting techniques.
- Previous experience supporting DoD/government customers.
