Our client is a high profile Federal Government agency who are looking for an experienced NETWORK ENGINEER to join their infrastructure team in the ACT. The is a rare 6 month contract position commencing immediately with a rewarding hourly rate on offer and a possible extension.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS/DEMONSTRATE;

- Extensive knowledge and experience in the network design and management of multiple vendor networking product suites to a complexity found within a large organisational network operating environment;
- Expert level analytical and diagnostic skills and the ability to coordinate/direct the efforts of multiple parties in the resolution of fault in the WAN/LAN environment;
- Proven knowledge of IT security requirements and regulations and its application across the network;
- Proven knowledge of Network management including Windows skill, Vmare, Unix/Solar and Scripting language and Standard Network Operating Environment
