Location:Metro Atlanta
Duration : Contract (3mths)
Pay Rate: up to $45/hr DOE, 5-7 years network implementation and support work experience
Responsibilities
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
Deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, Routers, Switches, UPSs, and other hardware as needed.
Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
Support existing network equipment, hardware, and software upgrades including all WAN circuits.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
Network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
Conduct research into networking issues and products as required including pulling in the proper vendor resources if needed.
Participate in managing all network security solutions.
Continue research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry.
Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team.

o VPN: Cisco AnyConnect, P2P IPSEC Tunnels
o Data Center management/cabling - copper & fiber
o Management/Troubleshooting: SolarWinds, WireShark, debugging
