Network Engineer Services

Green Light is looking for a Network Engineer for a short term contract to work with one of our key clients in Sydney. Will lead/complete network deployment activities including generating BOM's, EWO's, configuring network devices (Switches, Routers, Firewalls, load balancers and IPS), test and turn-over to production. Will provide L3 support to network issue remediation.

Network Engineer Services Skills Required:

- Experience deploying (installing, configuring, testing and turn-over to production) Routers, Switches, Firewalls, load balancers and Intrusion Protection Service devices
- Expectation of at least CCNA certification, higher preferred
- Has sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across a number of technologies.
- Prefer above experience with one or more of the following vendors:
- HP Networking or 3COM/ProCurve
- Checkpoint
- F5
- Tipping Point
- Administrative and deployment experience with TACACS/RADIUS
- Exposure to formal change management and or the ITIL/ITSM framework
- Visio design skill set
- Experience and ability to remotely configure and troubleshoot complex network environments.
