Network Engineer, Security - Banking

Large Banking organisation looking for Network Engineer with a focus on security. You will be part of a greater team, delivering on multiple projects at any one time.

As part of the Network Delivery team you will be responsible for the execution of technical activities in the banking Data/Security communications network across the various domains. You will be involved in Global project delivery. Experience in producing functional and technical documentation in mandatory.

REQUIRED SKILL SET:

- Cisco IP Switching and Routing
- VSX environment
- External Access & Connectivity environments
- Checkpoint - Provider 1
- Indentity and Access Management
- Intrusion Detection
- Quality and Class of Service transmission prioritisation (QOS, DiffServ)Skills
- IP protocol capture and traffic analysis (EG Sniffer, ethereal)* Good interpersonal skills.
- 5 + years experience
- Strong analystical skills
- Good communication - oral and written - skills.
- Strict adherence to policies, quality and standards.
- Sound understanding of banking administrative processes.
- Strong knowledge/experience in network security
- Strong knowledge of the platforms that make up the NET Group.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong negotiation skills - vendors and other internal ANZ support groups
