Network Engineers - RAN Operations - Contract - Brussels - Mobile Telecoms
The Support Services Engineer is responsible for supporting the in- and external local and/or global (international) customer(s) by providing professional (technical) services in analysis and resolution of problems to ensure/restore and/or enhances product/network functionality respecting contractual obligations. You will maintain and operate the RAN/UTRAN network, ensures the best availability and participates to the continuous improvement of the network quality.
As a Support Services Engineer you will be responsible for:
* FAULT ANALYSIS and CORRECTION
* Writes and performs non regression test for all patches, releases and new equipment (hardware and software) & deployment of these patches, release in the signalling network.
* Develops preventive maintenance procedures and follows up and controls the performance of the level 1 & level 2 activities.
* Defines plans and coordinates systems/products & services roll-out with the objective of zero incident during the move to production.
* Proposes optimisation of system/product & services taking into account operational requirements.
CHANGE
* Prepares, carries out and controls operations on the network: configuration management, new functionalities, new software releases, integration of new equipment, coordination and participation to the planned operations (often after working hours).
GENERIC KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
* Customer satisfaction
* Quality of reporting
* Performance in integration and/or update/upgrade activities
Professional Competences
* Knowledge of operation on 2G/3G especially on Huawei equipment.
* Very good knowledge of Microsoft - Excel - PowerPoint - Access
