Network Engineer (NOC-Level 2)/Norwegian Speaker

We are hiring for NETWORK ENGINEER (NOC-LEVEL 2) at OSLO,NORWAYfor one our reputed client.

JOB TITLE: NETWORK ENGINEER (NOC-LEVEL 2) LOCATION: OSLO,NORWAYJOB TYPE: CONTRACT

NOTE: NORWEGIAN LANGUAGE SPEAKING

NOC IP Engineer is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the core and access IP network of a Norwegian ISP.

It is mandatory that the resource should be having the security authorization to work to work for a Norwegian network service provider (ISP) and is well aware of the Norwegian working conditions.

THE MAIN JOBS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Monitor IP backbone and IP metro network of ISP network.
Managing all stakeholders in end to end chain efficiently
Managing the incidents through the well-defined incident management process.
Customer notification for the tickets in continuous and specific intervals.
Creation of incident for backbone network fault and troubleshooting to restore services.
Troubleshoot customers issues related to Internet, IPVPN (or MPLS L3 VPN), L2VPN (PW) Services.
Login into PE, CPE, Dslam (zhone), 3G/4G backup devices to troubleshoot issues.
Coordination with field team to troubleshoot backbone Incident and customer incidents.
Maintain the notification/restorations SLAs well.
Escalation to Level 3 tech team and Major Incident Manager whenever require.
Coordination with Customer Services (CS), Customer Delivery (CD) team and with customer to resolve issues.
Understand the PBI processes and demand the closure of PBIs related to incidents from the NettDrift teams.
Closely coordinate with Change Management for the change activities.
Should be ready to work in a 24 X 7 NOC environment.

EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience in the role in the IP NOC is mandatory..
3-4 years of experience in the IP network in an ISP environment is mandatory.
Good understanding the various incident processes and resolution methodologies.

TECHNICAL AWARENESS:
Good understanding of P-PE-UPE-Metro-Access level IP architecture.
Should have sound knowledge and hands on experience on layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies.
PE Services: L2-L3 MPLS VPN, PE-CE Protocols- BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, RIPv2, Static.
CPE Services: iBGP, eBGP, VRRP/HSRP (VRF-aware) Enhanced Object Tracking (IP SLA, route Tracking, VRF-aware Track) NAT, VRF-Lite, GRE and VRF-aware tunnels, BFD, DMVPN.
ACLs/Filters: ACLs, Prefix-lists, distribute list, Route-maps (export/import maps, advertise-map, non-exist/exist map, suppress-map), community and tag based filtering, sitemap and SOO filtering for EIGRP, offset-list.
L2 Encapsulations: PPP, MLPPP, MFR, P2PFR
NNI: L3-NNI (Option A, B, C), L2-NNI.
QOS: Single and H-COS (4 and 6 COS models DSCP, IPP, ACLs based)
Multicast: PIM-SM, draft Rosen, MSDP.
IPv6 Services: IPv6 addressing, static routing, BGPv6.

HANDS ON EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.
Juniper, Huawei, Cisco, Alcatel Lucent Routers, Extreme Switches and Zhone modems.

ADDED ADVANTAGE:
Working knowledge on tools: Remedy, Netcool, BLC, LSD and small world.
Certifications: CCNA,CCNP,JNCIA,JNCIS, ITIL
