Network Engineer/Network Consultant/Network Architect

network Engineer/Network Consultant/Network Architect - LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center Technologies.

The consultant should have a thorough understanding of network technologies. The role of the consultant would be translating business requirements into a technical solution including the development of network plans, architecture, and strategies in order to design and implement a total network solution.

Required experience:
* 5+ years of consulting experience
* Experience in gathering business requirements and map these requirements to a network architecture
* Experience in designing, planning and implementation of a network architecture

Technical skills:
* LAN and WAN technology (preferable HP Networking)
* Data center technologies
* WLAN expertise (preferable HP Networking)
* 802.1x authentication mechanism (Radius)
* Security products like IPS, VPN and Firewalls (Tipping point and Fortinet)
* Load balancing technologies (preferable F5)
* Understanding of IP Networks, IP Addressing and IP routing (TCP, UDP, ICMP, BGP4, OSPF, RIP etc.)
* Knowledge of DNS and DHCP
* Project planning and network design tradeoffs
* A strong working knowledge of network best practices

Non-technical skills:
* Professional appearance
* Proactive approach
* Strong written documentation skills
* Strong verbal communication skills
* Be able to manage teams of network consultants
* Ability to complete projects on time
