TITLE: NETWORK ENGINEER (L3)

LOCATION South of belgium

DURATION 6 months renewable

Our client, an international company, is looking for an experienced network engineer (5 to 7 years experience) in Datacenter/LAN (Cisco/Nexus) who will be the point of contact between NOC team and Architects. He will have operational work in Datacenter and will be the point of contact with the architectural team.

Your mission will be to analyse, design, develop and support technical solutions for datacenters and networks.
You assist and coach the NOC team (L1, L2, L3) to find the best solution
You manage all the different aspects of a project and proactively resolve any existing issues.
You are responsible for the network optimisation
You liaise with the architect team and support/discharge them.
VLAN, HRSP;... analyses and cleaning
Analyse and correct switching configuration
Include support of Cisco Switches, Nexus's, ACE load balancer, Palo Alto Firewalls, Citrix Netscaler

Technical Requirements

You have experience of minimum 5 years in the telecom industry for Datacenter Network and LAN matters;

You possess knowledge of (with strong hands on experience):

- Datacenters network architecture and configurations;
- Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP);
- Switched network environments;
- HRSP, VSS, VLAN
- Cisco High-End Routers and Nexus 

Soft skills:

Able to work in complex environment

Able to work between different parties

Able to communicate in a professional way
