MyYorkshirebased client requires a Network Engineer with Juniper expertise for an initial 6 - 12 month contract. This role has come about due to a new contract our client has won to provide on going remote technical support, for their customers. They are looking for a positive, motivated and passionate individual who will contribute to the existing team

Essential Skills:

Experience of working with Cisco switching/routing experience CCNA and above.

Experience of juniper fire walls and Juniper security operating systems ( ScreenOS)

Experience with HP switching

Candidates with working experience of VOIP

Troubleshooting skills using TCPDump and knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, VLANS

Desirable skills:

LINUX

UNIX

REDHAT

Juniper SSL / VPN

DNS, DHCP

SMTP

Logging services like Splunk, Nagios

My client is looking for a real 'self starter', someone who can hit the ground running and get up to speed very quickly. You will be working as part of a large team of both contractors and permanent staff so will be accustomed to working in a fast paced, team based environment
