Network Engineer CCNP/CCIE Cisco, F5, Juniper, Checkpoint

LOCNET Limited has vast expertise in deploying Networking and Security solutions and services to customer across the UK and Europe. We are looking for 1 contract engineer for a 1 - 2 months project based in Amsterdam, NL.

THE ROLE

The Engineer we are looking for must be at least CCNP certified (CCIE preferred) with strong expertise in the following:

Test & troubleshoot connectivity issues

-

Physical and logical
-

BGP and OSPF
(why is this session failing, why aren't these routes announced/accepted, etc)
-

SLB
(why is this VIP/pool down, why are health checks failing)
-

Migration prep work, such as creating cable Matrix and MOP/runbook for how to do a migration
-

Cisco, F5, Juniper, Checkpoint expertise
-

Policy-based routing, primarily on Cisco
-

Cisco specific (IOS and Nexus/NXOS) but touches the other gear as neighbors
-

Spanning tree (PVST)
-

General layer 2/switching
-

Replacing pairs of core Cisco Switches with newer Ciscos to support more VLANs in PVST

WHAT YOU NEED?

At least Cisco CCNP Certification (CCIE preferred)

Strong Cisco Experience on R&S
-

Checkpoint, F5 and Juniper experience
-

Excellent communication and customer facing skills
-

Ability to work independent without supervision
-

At least 5+ years commercial Networking experience
