Network Engineer CCNA

At CCNP levels, with complementary skills; with one of which on security (CCSP), one of which on WAN specific technologies

LANGUAGES: Good to very good English, nice to have Dutch or French

- Strong LAN knowledge able to asses present design and propose redesign following applicable standard at the customer
- Admin skills, do it yourself mentality, organizer
- Good with DNS, VLAN
- Good with IP tables, able to standardize them
- Prepare the cases specific to customer and then interact with Verizon
- No configuration of LAN equipment required on EMEA level besides local office

TASKS REALIZED:

- Inventory and analyze of the existing LANs and WLANs
- New design proposal taking into account the new requirements, technical and financial criteria.
- Configuration of Switches and Routers (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, QoS, VoIP).
- Configuration of wireless LAN controllers (AIR-WLC440x and 2100 Series) for LAPs Cisco wireless access points (AIR-LAP1242AG and AIR-LAP1131AG). WLANs are used for laptops, scanners and VoWLAN.
- IP Addressing remediation to follow subnetting rules before transition to Verizon
- Tests and troubleshooting.
