My client is a leading systematic trading house looking for a Network Engineer to join their infrastructure and security team. The role is very hands on and will involve low level network support and architecture, installation and maintenance, troubleshooting and project work covering a broad scope of IT infrastructure optimisation.

The candidate should have a strong academic background, with a 2.1 degree or above from a well respected institute. This role requires an extensive background in Network engineering and support, preferably withdin a financial environment, for example in investment banking, hedge funds or asset management. Any High Frequency/Low Latency exposure is desirable as the client is always looking to optimise business processes to maintain a cutting edge in the market.

The skills and desired experience required for this role include: Cisco CLI, TCP/IP and broad understanding of network technologies and how they fit into financial companies technical environment.
