Network Engineer - Amsterdam - Netherlands

A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Network Designer & Implementer to join a global giant and work in beautiful Netherlands.

This job is expected to be a complex, challenging and long term project with exciting future opportunities. Initial duration would be a 12 month contract

NETWORK DESIGNER & IMPLEMENTER - LAN/WAN & WIRELESS - THE NETHERLANDS

- Strong experience designing both high-level and low-level network infrastructure solutions
- Strong experience with implementation of network solutions in a global organization
- Successful track record in working within a global network infrastructure team in a large, complex production environment
- Expertise in enterprise routing, switching and wireless (Cisco) required. Data Center LAN (Cisco NEXUS/VXLAN) & Firewalls (Checkpoint) preferable
- Cisco/ITIL Certification
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering, or 5+ years of equivalent experience
- Most recent 3+ years working knowledge of various internetworking technologies such as routing, switching, Firewalls, data centre, remote access, with additional focus on Cisco IPT technologies preferred.
