Square One are looking for an experienced Network Engineer who is fluent in Dutch and English to work for a presitigous client in the Netherlands for a longterm opportunity. Thsi is an exciting chance for you to build on your skills by helping to manage the network infrastructure.

Responsbiltiies:

You will report to the Network Team Lead and will be responsible for documentation, monitoring, processes and maintenance for all networks and related components. You should be able to manage a strong working relationship with your peers across IT.

* Define technical specifications and requirements .
* Set up control over the full range of control. Monitoring, incident management, problem management.
* Provide reporting over SLA, ongoing incidents, changes and budgets.
* Implement large change and innovation processes based on central and local IT Infrastructure resources.
* Implement policies, standards and life cycle, area specific (Networking) and cross domain Infrastructure.
* Implement infrastructure technology standards compliant to both internal and external terms and conditions (eg data protection)
* Develop a detailed roadmap in relation to the specific Infrastructure area (Networking).
* Translate tactical decisions, reference architecture and security policies into operational Infrastructure definitions.
* Identify any deviations from standards and policies in conjunction with architecture.

Essential Skills:

* Relevant experience ie infrastructure security, application security, prevention and protection, vulnerability analysis.
* Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent.
* F5 Big-IP and LTM, I-rules, certificates
* IPT/IPV environments, Polycom, Avaya/Nortel, Unify and Skype.
* Firewall rules and implementation.
* WiFi/LAN, Windows AD, DNS- IP- and time services.

Desireable skills:

* Exposure to the financial sector.
