Network Engineer

NETWORK ENGINEER

Currently we are looking for a junior developer who will be responsible for building and maintaining network routes in Google Earth. The role is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and the duration is 6 months with the possibility to extend or to develop in a perm position.

TASKS

- Build new networks including additional capacity to support growth
- Building new data centre spaces to accommodate new services
- Producing detailed network layouts
- Giving updates to the management regularly regarding status reporting, risk management and escalation management
- Monthly reporting on all services requests and implementation statuses
- Managing several tasks and deliverables required from all internal and external parties
- Updating capacity planners regarding progresses
- Review service requests for impact assessment and provide feedback within the agreed service level agreements in consultation with other teams

REQUIREMENTS

- Experience within a telecom company and in network services delivery on an international scale with a minimum of 3 years
- Good understanding of data centre environments
