Network Engineer

Network Engineer - Amsterdam - Cisco

I am keen to speak with Network Engineers with a strong network design background and experienc across load balancers, Firewalls and Switches.

The role will require you to:
*Understand the business requirements and translate them into technical network solutions (capacity and functionalities), support the budgeting and spend justification process (Bills of Material, network drawings etc.) Produce low level design from high level design.
*Lead and contribute necessary design and implementation work for new projects in an optimal and cost effective way, according to company technical guidelines
*Produce network engineering solutions and designs, bills of material, implementation & migration plans and documents taking into account all related network elements

Skills and experience:

Designing a network to CCIE standard.
Solid experience of network design with thorough understanding of security, Firewalls, load balancing, Routers
Expert user of Microsoft Windows, Office Suite and Visio
Fluent in spoken and written English
Good interpersonal skills, able communicator
Team player
Experience in multinational and multicultural environments.
Bachelor degree in Information Technology or Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
