Network Engineer

Our client in the Philadelphia area is looking for a Network Engineer for a 12 month contract with a chance of becoming permanent.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As a member of the IT Infrastructure team, the Network Engineer's primary role will be 'taking the reins' on our Cisco 10Gb Network, F5 LTM/GTM's, WAN, MAN, SAN storage, performance tuning, maintenance, client connectivity, etc. and will support the systems administrators in their tasks maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure.

Primary responsibilities will include:
Support for Network hardware and software needs throughout the organization
Implementation of networking best practices, analysis, and integration into existing host operating systems, including Redhat Linux, CentOS, Microsoft Windows, and Macintosh
Advise, implement, and maintain proper network segmentation and security across multiple applications

MUST HAVE

- Strong Network Engineer with Cisco Routers and Switches including BGP
- Firewalls
- F5
