Network Engineer

We are currently searching for a Network Engineer to work in The Hague, The Netherlands for at least six months plus extensions. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large multi-national client.

Job description

They have just done a network installation at a major customer and they need to develop new functionalities ( customization ). The suitable candidate must be a real hands-on engineer with experience in ASR 9000 and Nexus 7000, CCNP certified, living in NL, English speaking, 40 hours per week.

Architecture design and Support Engineer - ongoing support - Scheduled change support - remediation plan creation & delivery - Design collaboration - Training delivery

R&S engineer with CCNP or CCIE certification or proven working experience
- Strong experience with operations of ASR9K & Nexus7K based network, self-sufficient to work with experts in implementing network changes in large scale networks
- Expert knowledge of routing & Switching overall
- Strong knowledge & experience of traditional R&S protocols including STP, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, Ethernet
- Solid foundation of security is a plus
- Expertise with Fabric Path
- Experience with VMWare integration
