JOB DESCRIPTION
- Minimum of five year work experience in system engineering roles in a hosting environment.
- Must be able to perform in a dynamic organisation with a large number of stakeholders.
- RHCE or equivalently certified.
- CCNA certified
- Good understanding of network technologies.
- Good command of the English language.
WORKING KNOWLEDGE WITH THE FOLLOWING TOOLS AND COMPONENTS IS PREFERRED:
- Puppet
- PowerDNS
- Apache
- VMWare
- Memcached, Varnish/Nginx
- Databases (MySQL)
- Cisco and Dell Hardware
- Storage
- Domain Registrations/SSL
- Networking (DNS, Routing, Switching, VPN, Firewall)
- Attlassian Suite of tools.
- LAN/WAN
