Network Engineer

10+ years of experience in technology related fields, with at least 5 years of experience in operationally focused positions
Must have strong wireless networking skills including IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi Standards, HREAP, Controller based Wi-Fi systems, Client to Network Authentication mechanisms (EAP/TLS PEAP, etc.), RADIUS, DHCP, DNS, Internet VPNs (IPSEC and SSL)
Demonstrated experience with understanding Wireless Network Architectures (Controller based Wi-Fi systems, LTE, 3G) with Radio Frequency (RF) technologies, including network and antenna solutions for Wi-Fi and Cellular (IEEE 802.11, 3G, EVDO, 4G, LTE, WiMax, Hotspot 2.0)
Experience in Wi-Fi facilities support (Factoring signal coverage, radio interference, radio resource management (RRM), heat map construction, indoor/outdoor solutions, proactive systems management, threshold definition for alerting, etc.)
Proficient in the use of wireless tools (ex. Fluke AirMagnet, Cisco WiSM/Prime, Aruba AirWave, etc.)
Strong Cisco and Aruba experience desired (ex. Cisco 8500/5500 controller systems, Aruba ClearPass/AmigoPod and RAP/Controller systems)
Expert level knowledge of TCP/IP version 4 & 6 and other network services required to run a complex corporate network
Familiarity with the capabilities and problems of a broad spectrum of hardware and transmission technologies (eg, cabling, optical fiber, WAN and transport, routing, Firewalls, LAN/VLANs Switches, SDN, etc.)
Ability to understand fairly complex network infrastructure quickly during major incidents and provide technical leadership appropriately
Good understanding of how IT technology supports the Enterprise and the Business Segments
Ability to communicate and multi-task under pressure
Aruba ACMP/AWMP
Fluke AirMagnet certification
Sniffer Certified Expert/Master (SCE/SCM),
Technical Certifications like CCNP, CCIE is highly desirable.
ITIL V3 and advanced certification is a plus
Exceptional communication skills are a must. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at a variety of levels and to communicate intricate technical and procedural matters to both technical and non-technical personnel across diverse cultures

Certifications:
