CCNA NETWORK ENGINEER ENGLEWOOD, NJ 5 MONTH CONTRACT

We need a candidate who can provide technical support, assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of all enterprise systems. In addition, s/he will provide direct support coverage for all enterprise network attached systems and physical network infrastructure including hardware, software, network tools & applications, Back Office, custom and third party business applications. Candidate must be capable of testing and evaluating technical infrastructure to eliminate problems and make improvements. Creates installation and support documentation as needed.

ON A ROTATIONAL BASIS, THE NETWORK ENGINEER WILL PROVIDE 24 X 7 SUPPORT COVERAGE.

Overview:

- Configure network device connections
- Troubleshoot major wireless and network issues
- Report to Network Services and Service Management team
- Conduct weekly review of work and weekly planning
- Assist with onsite troubleshooting on LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi and IPT
- Provides hands-on help as required (port re-patching, phone connections, phone replacement, switch/Router replacement)
- Assist BT engineers as required with troubleshooting (provide console access)
- Assist with floor plan updates, labelling of equipment, circuits, inventory verification, etc. (in rare circumstances)
- Be BT eyes and hands onsite
- Be able to login into equipment and apply config changes as required and guided by engineers
- For IPT: Be able to reset vm password, change on hold music, install and configure new phones, etc.
- Configuration knowledge of Routers, Switches and access points
- Continuously work to improve personal, technical, and business skills in order to provide the best service possible
- Possible overtime 1xper month
