Network Engineer

NETWORK ENGINEER
Pittsburgh, PA
2 YEARS+ CONTRACT

The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for administering and maintaining the enterprise data network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, MAN, WLAN and Data Center networks.
The position requires on-call support time, including participation in team on-call rotation (24/7); candidate must be willing to work flexible hours as demanded by outage/on-call activities and international team coordination needs.
As a result of the above, local Pittsburgh candidates are preferred for this position, or candidates who are willing to relocate to the area.

REQUIRED SKILLS
LAN/Switching: hands on experience installing LAN and Cisco Switching equipment with specific experience managing larger/more complex networks
OSPF Routing: mid-level to expert experience with OSPF and network routing/troubleshooting
BGP: experience managing BGP routing configuration in a MPLS environment, or comparable BGP experience

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
Nexus/Data Center network support (required for higher cost candidates)
WLAN experience with focus on Cisco solution
Security-related experience (Firewall, IDS, Vulnerability etc.)
