Network Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a NETWORK ENGINEER to join our Client in Champagne, IL.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide operational and engineering support in a fast paced complex, production oriented environment

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in the following:
- Cisco 6500/7600 platforms, to include Firewall Service Modules and Content Switching Modules
- Cisco ASA 5500 platforms, including multiple context modes
- Cisco 7200/7600,3900, series Routers
- Cisco Nexus 7000, 5000, 2200 series product configuration and troubleshooting knowledge required
- Firewall Configuration,HA and diagnostic commands o Read,interpret and troubleshoot S2S,Client VPN's and Encryption Protocols on Firewall and Routing platforms
- Commercial Physical Cable specification and termination for Fiber Optic and Copper high capacity network grade deployments
- Understanding of routing on Windows, Solaris, Linux and/or HPUX
- Experience of administering Linux systems
- Packet level troubleshooting experience with Wireshark Infinistream, Sniffer, tcpdump, snoop, and winpcap
- Detailed understanding and troubleshooting experience with EIGRP, BGP4, and Static Routing
- Detailed understanding and troubleshooting experience with layer 2 STP, CEF, and dCEF
- Detailed understanding and practical experience with Cable Plant testing and certifications
- Detailed understanding and troubleshooting experience with DNS, Active Directory, Radius, ACS

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Helpful training or certifications would include: CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, CCVP, CISSP, PMP Start Time: Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
