Here at Software Specialists, we have a great opening for a Network Engineer position with a progressive client in the Columbia, SC area.

This is a contract position. Excellent communication skills required.

Job Description:

--Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting Cisco Switches, Routers, and Firewalls
--Experience with MPLS network troubleshooting
--Experience working in a large multi-site enterprise Network environment
--Experience supporting and/or implementing QOS (Highly Desired)
--Experience with Checkpoint and Juniper Firewall (Highly Desired)
--Experience with Cisco ISE/802.1x technology (Highly Desired)

Responsible for network planning, architecture design and engineering. Determines feasibility from technical and economic perspectives. Evaluates equipment specifications and process requirements to conceive a practical design Compiles and analyzes operational data and directs tests to establish standard for new designs or modifications to existing equipment, systems, or processes.
