Network Engineer

A fast growing Global Consultancy is currently looking for a Network Engineer to join their team on site with one of their finance customers where you would assist the domain architect, stack and component owner in the delivery of the standard services and to maintain the operational readiness of the components within the network domain.

This is a 3 month rolling contract based in Brussels and has the potential to be a long term opportunity for the right person.

In order to be considered for his position you must have a total of 3 - 5 years experience as well as the following:

- Master degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of at least two of the following products: Cisco Switches and Routers, Cisco ASA & Juniper Firewalls, Secure Reverse Proxies F5, Cisco ACE.
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Knowledge of Dutch and/or French would be a huge bonus

This job will involve the following responsibilities

- You implement components in the development and acceptance environment.
- You participate in projects within the technology domain
- You make sure the delivered designs are aligned
- You are responsible for the3d line support in incident and problem resolution and audit findings
- You keep yourself informed of your technology domain
- You deliver the build and component documentation.
