Network Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a NETWORK ENGINEER to join our client in Atlanta, GA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Designing and laying out data center's with Nexus equipment.
- Create the design templates, lay out the data center equipment, implement and configure it into the network, test it and turn it up.
- Work with minimal supervision and know best practices in order to ensure high availability and redundancy.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF and layer 2 topologies
- Experience with the Cisco Nexus platform 7K, 5K, 2K
- Experience with the FortiGate platform
- Must be able to document work processes and diagrams (Visio)
- Must be able to work independently will be assigned stuff to go investigate then document
- Must be able to troubleshoot issues independently
- The right candidate should have experience with Nexus 2K, 5K, and 7K platforms.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Ten (10) plus years of networking experience
- Twelve (12) solid years with Nexus equipment, including 2K, 5K, and 7K equipment
- Experience creating configuration templates for data center design/layout
- Five (5) plus years experience creating data center environments
- Dynamic routing experience with OSPF
- Experience with Juniper ISG or SRX series
- Experience with Juniper Netscreen Manager
- Experience with Remedy ticketing systems
- Experience with PCI certification
- Experience with IPS/IDS platforms
