Network Engineer

An excellent opportunity for a Network Engineer to join a leading UK energy company on a contract basis. The resource is required to join an existing project support team in ensuring all perimeter security surrounding corporate networks.

Applications are sought from those who have proven hands-on technical support configuration experience on the following perimeter security vendors (with a strong bias to engineering support not compliance or governance):

- Cisco ASA Firewall
- Sourcefire IDS
- Bluecoat Proxy
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting using packet capturing tools etc.
- Advanced TCP/IP Networking.
- ITIL and customer focussed.
- Ability to work under tight project demands and pressure.
- Ability to review project designs.
- Juniper ScreenOS and JUNOS
- Security Event Information Management - RSA Envision.
- Two Factor Authentications - RSA SecurID.
- Conversant with PCI and ONR Compliance.
- Maintenance of advanced network diagrams in Microsoft Visio and SharePoint.
- Vulnerability scanning.
- Palo Alto Firewall (if possible)
